Hey, I'm Sarah.
lover of natural, candid, fun wedding photography!
Ey up! Thanks for dropping by! I'm Sarah, a Northern lass from York - and more recently a Leicestershire based wedding photographer... I will travel just about anywhere to capture a good love story, so you could call me a destination wedding photographer, too! I am big lover of the outdoors, roadtrips, walks on the beach and anyone who loves an adventure.
I would describe my photography as having a very natural, authentic approach. I like to tell a story and enjoy documenting your day as it unfolds. My mission is for you to feel at ease + completely present on your wedding.
If you are an adventurous, free-spirited couple, who don't mind pushing those wedding tradition boundaries a little and doesn't like taking life too seriously - then we could just be perfect for each other!

Photographer + Story Teller
I would consider my photography a very informal, relaxed and documentary style. Which means asides from your portraits - no awkward posing, i promise! Sometimes you may not even notice i am there! I am a firm believer in 'you do you'. It's your big day and I want to give you the gift of being present without being dragged for constant photos. I am always around to capture those key moments as they unfold on your special day. I find this way your story gets told in exactly the way it happened which means - more epic photos all round!
So whether you are getting married in a castle in the Scottish Highlands, a tipi in Yorkshire or perhaps by the beach on the south coast of England - quirky venues are right up my street!
When I am not capturing fun stuff at weddings you will find me on an adventure somewhere, i LOVE to travel! My happy place is by the sea or in the mountains - Equally though i can be a bit of a homebird and i can be just as happy at home with my husband with a good thriller/crime netflix series on the box.

From the start, we were on the same page about the beauty and simplicity of adventure elopements; we communicated easily to make sure we understood expectations of one another. From helping us decide on the perfect location, to loving up on our shy pup, ordaining our very non-ceremonious ceremony, and HIKING 3 miles up a cold snowy mountain with all her gear, this woman is just an angel. I'm in love with all our photos (which she turned around very quickly!) and I would absolutely use her services again in a heartbeat.
